Dr. Crystal Goodman is a Senior Consultant for Apricity. She received her Ph.D. in Higher Education from the University of Virginia and brings expertise in student services and educational programs assessment. Dr. Goodman holds a professional background in both academic and student affairs with an emphasis on the development of population specific education programs, including programs for high needs students in both two-year and four-year institutional contexts. She has held a broad range of professional positions which include experience in teaching, academic advising, financial aid counseling, technical education programs and curriculum, admissions, administering student organizations/leadership programs, faculty supervision, assessment, and accreditation. Dr. Goodman served as Campus and Community Liaison, Director of Student and Academic Success, and Director of Student Services at Central Louisiana Technical Community College. She also worked as an Academic Advisor/Faculty Specialist at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa where she led efforts in academic persistence, assessment of advising, and student customer service. Currently, Dr. Goodman is a principal evaluator for the USED's regional Comprehensive Centers Program consulting with Pacific Policy Research Center (Honolulu, HI).
Dr. Mary Lee serves as Managing Consultant for Apricity. She earned a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Hawai‘i and brings a background in social science research, teaching, and program evaluation. Dr. Lee is driven by racial equity and social justice issues and interested in research and evaluation methods that address education, health, and socio-economic outcomes as interdisciplinary, interdependent phenomena. She has served as principal manager on dozens of research, evaluation and technical assistance initiatives, working with schools and universities, government agencies, and public and private grantees across the Pacific region. Currently, Dr. Lee is a principal evaluator for the USED's regional Comprehensive Centers Program through her work with Pacific Policy Research Center (Honolulu, HI). Dr. Lee has also served as faculty for the University of Hawai‘i, Mānoa (UHM) Colleges of Arts & Sciences and worked as a researcher for the UHM Curriculum Research & Development Group. She continues to work closely with organizations to develop culturally-relevant evaluation methods in service of Indigenous and migrant communities across the Pacific and looks forward to expanding upon this work in the Pacific Northwest.
Dr. Lance Linke is a Senior Consultant at Apricity. Dr. Linke is a trained clinical, developmental, and educational psychologist. He earned a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Hawai‘i, Mānoa and received a post-doctoral certification in Clinical Psychology from the University of Missouri, St. Louis. Dr. Linke has worked in the areas of educational research and evaluations, curriculum design, and professional development. He has also worked nationally and internationally with departments and ministries of health and education to create interdisciplinary, collaborative frameworks that focus on the importance of emotional development across cultures. Dr. Linke has held faculty positions at Hawai‘i Pacific University and Yale University School of Medicine.
Dr. Jenna Caparoso serves as a Consultant for Apricity. Holding a Ph.D. in Educational Administration from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, she brings a rich and diverse background spanning the fields of educational research, evaluation and assessment, teaching, and statistics. As a "data viz enthusiast," Dr. Caparoso bridges together her training in data analytics with her love for graphic and web design. She is passionate about helping stakeholders to better understand their data and explore innovative ways to visualize and use data to inform decision making, organizational improvement, policy, as well as programmatic and strategic action.
